Why this order. The fastest route to first revenue is not clinical software. Governance, assurance, information governance and AI governance sell to boards rather than clinicians — no clinical-accreditation dependency, shorter sales cycles, lower implementation risk and a broader addressable market. The clinical, flow and population capability is real and shipped; it belongs in the destination edition, not in the first commercial conversation.

Purpose: create awareness, goodwill and an open-standard ecosystem — and be the obvious alternative to federated-data-platform lock-in. Nobody can argue with the entry cost.

Everything the NHS Federated Data Platform does, at £1 per instance — self-hosted, on open standards (openEHR / FHIR / OMOP), with no Palantir contract. The open platform foundation, core utilities and developer toolkit, plus the full FDP-parity operational product set: every module here has a real FDP counterpart, so a buyer can never answer a paid edition with "the FDP already does that". What the FDP CANNOT do — the longitudinal clinical record and clinical workflow — is deliberately NOT here; that is the differentiator and it sits in the Population Platform.

The Community Edition stands alone as the open, FDP-parity base; each edition layers on top without a rebuild, and the Population Platform includes governance & assurance in full. Items marked roadmap are named gaps we intend to build — they are not shipped today and are never presented as live. Everything else resolves to a real, routed module. The canonical model lives in services/web/src/editions.ts and drives the in-app “Editions & Catalogue” tab. Non-SaMD positioning surface.
